The Web Guide aims to meet the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0 (WCAG 2.0) web standard, endorsed by the Australian Government.

The Web Guide has been designed to meet the Australian Government standard established in respect of this requirement. The majority of content on this site is text based. Images have alternative text and are often described further in surrounding information.

The Web Guide is currently compliant to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0 (WCAG 2.0) standard. It will be upgraded to Triple A compliance over time.
WCAG 2.0 is a technical standard developed under the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
